- Delta concluded a farm-in into the Tompa and "Kiha" blocks in March 2008
- Drilling will commence year-end 2008
- The Tompa & Kiskunhalas blocks contain a sizeable accumulation of unconventional gas
- Located near existing infrastructure
- Tompa block has proven gas accumulation at depths from 2600m-4400m
- Two deep wells drilled in late 1980s by USGS/OKGT/World Bank for resource determination
- Considered unconventional gas due to tight nature of reservoir and due to high pressure-high temperature
